Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Tuesday 24th June 2025 as part of our regular monthly Town Hall Meeting.
This is our main business meeting of the year when we get together to hear reports on how the organisation is faring and how our finances are doing, to elect or re-elect the committee members and to give members a chance to raise any issues that concern them.
It is not possible to hold the meeting if we are not quorate which requires 10% of our paid-up members as a minimum to be present. If you haven’t yet paid for your membership, the Committee urges you to do so before the AGM, and please attend if possible so we have at least the minimum number of attendees to validate the meeting. Please also note that if you are not paid up for the coming year, you will not be entitled to vote.
We will be sending out an AGM invitation email with a package of information about the AGM, including a formal notice of the meeting, an agenda and a proxy voting form.
All members are encouraged to attend the meeting but if you can’t attend in person, it’s very important that you register your proxy/postal votes using the form which will be included in your AGM invitation email.
Attendance at the AGM is free, refreshments will be provided, and afterwards there will be a short talk by Nikki Filby, of Postles on
the Development of Household Appliances.
