What is Aylsham & District u3a?

• Part of a regional, national, and international network of similar organisations that provide an opportunity for members to come together and learn for fun.
• Membership of the u3a gives retired and semi-retired people a unique opportunity to do something different, and offers them the chance to make new friends, develop new skills, have new experiences, and enjoy retirement to the full.
• Membership is by annual subscription.
• Prospective members are most welcome to come and 'try before you buy'.

Members have access to:

• Monthly Speaker Meetings with an illustrated talk, followed by coffee or tea and biscuits.
• Monthly informal Coffee Mornings providing an opportunity to meet new friends.
• Participation in any of over 40 Interest Groups on a variety of subjects covering, for example, Arts & Crafts, Film & Music, Languages & Literature, Food & Drink, and Fitness & Sports.
• Social Events and trips throughout the year.
• A monthly local e-newsletter and national u3a magazine.
